The Muskegon Risers have secured an outdoor home, through the summer of 2020, at historic Monsignor Kehren Stadium on the campus of Muskegon Catholic Central (MCC).
In 2017, the Risers and MCC tested the concept of soccer being played at Kehren Stadium. Located in the heart of Muskegon, Kehren Stadium facilitated an authentic Muskegon experience on Risers game days, which resulted in record outdoor season attendance numbers. Following the 2017 summer campaign, both sides drafted an agreement through 2020 in an effort to build upon the success of 2017.
A consistent game day facility in the heart of Muskegon was deemed crucial to the longterm stability of the outdoor program by Muskegon Risers leadership. With the team having a permanent home in LC Walker Arena for its arena seasons, and now a home at Kehren Stadium for the next three outdoor seasons, the organization is well-positioned to continue serving its purpose of creating a positive impact along the MKG lakeshore through the game of soccer.
